The first Tennis Camp by Mrs. Jelena Genčić (the first trainer to Novak Đoković) was held in July 2010, under the sponsorship of Crown Prince Alexander Karageorgevich. The fourteen-day camp was attended by tennis players between 9 and 14 years of age from Serbia and abroad (Norway, Denmark, USA, Montenegro).
Participants were provided with:
- accommodation at the Jelak Hotel and catering based on three main meals and 2 snacks,
- use of open air courts with asphalt floor cover,
- use of the "balloon" court with the Gerfloor floor cover,
- 24-hour medical supervision,
- use of outdoor and indoor thermal water pools,
- unlimited consumption of Prolom water and Prolom juices.
The children were split into groups of 3-4 participants and each group was provided with a trainer.
A tournament was held on the last day of the tennis camp and medals and cups were awarded to the most successful participants.
Mrs. Jelena Genčić stated that she was thrilled with the working conditions at Lukovska Spa, and as she says: "In addition to the excellent hotel, the courts, the indoor court where we can work during poor weather conditions, we can hold fitness trainings in this air oasis, use the outdoor and indoor pools..."
Beside the Summer Camp, another Winter Camp was held on December 2010. The next tennis camp is planned for July 2011.
