Field Trips

Several times during the week field trips are organized for hotel guests, accompanied with a Spa guide, to locales in the immediate and wider vicinity:

The Church of St. George in Lukovska Spa:

It is located on a rocky outcropping above the Spa, at an altitude of 945 m, wherefrom an excellent view of the entire valley of Lukovska Spa can be found. The church can also be reached by a short and steep path 900 m in length (for athletes and younger recreational hikers) or a longer path, 1900 m in length. Transportation can be organized to the churche.

The Church of St. Mina in Štava:

The Church of St. Mina, originating from the sixteenth century, is located in the Štava village, 6 km away. It was built from chiselled stone and covered in stone blocks. The preserved frescoes add particular cultural value to this church.

Prolom Spa:

Prolom Spa is 58 kilometres away. It is renowned for its curative Prolom water, with a unique mineral composition, used in treating kidney diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, skin diseases, peripheral blood vessel diseases and non-articular rheumatism. The bottling plant for Prolom water is also near the hotel complex. The hotel recreation service organizes full-day field trips with lunch at the Radan Hotel in Prolom Spa.

Đavolja Varoš:

Lokalitet Đavolja Varoš is 65 km away. It is protected by the state as a Category I Natural Monument and is also the only representative of Serbia in the selection for the "7 Natural World Wonders". The hotel organizes full-day field trips to this locale with lunch at Prolom Spa.

XII Century Churches in Kuršumlija:

The first foundations of Stefan Nemanja from the 12th century can be found in Kuršumlija, 36 km away: the Church of St. Nicholas and the Church of the Virgin Mother. Field trips are organized accompanied by a Spa guide, with a visit to the early-Byzantine basilica and introduction to the town monuments.
